"Establishing the Foundation in prayer", Pastor Phillip & Vondrea Tarver launched United Faith Center Ministries International on December 4, 2012 in the city of Blue Island, Illinois at the Tommy A. Brown Recreational Center. Twelve people gathered as we began our journey with praying for the community, families and the direction of the ministry. It was on this first night of prayer that we received the prophetic release…The Lord said, “I have given you the name United Faith Center Ministries because many ministries will be birthed from this ministry and many shall be sent out. I have given you the name International because you have traveled the nations and will continue to travel from this place." Not long after, in March of 2013 Pastor Phil was invited to Trinidad!

We continued in prayer and teachings on Tuesdays for three months and our weekly prayer and bible study meeting was named, "Tabernacle Tuesdays".  We begin our first Sunday Worship service on Resurrection Sunday, March 31, 2013. Pastor Phil preached the Word “It’s A New Day”, and a special dance ministry presentation of “The Blood Still Speaks” was ministered by Charisma Inspire Dance Ministry.

Throughout the first year in ministry we hosted ‘Night of Worship’, a quarterly Tuesday worship gathering, where regional worship leaders and gospel recording artists joined together bringing the hearts of those attending to a place of unity in worship.
Throughout the first two years we invited the community to a “Meet & Greet”, had a Thanksgiving Food giveaway were we gave out 100 bags of grocery and hosted Praise in The Park, with health information, school supply giveaway, food, prayer and fellowship to outreach in the neighborhood.

We were blessed to celebrate our second year of ministry with guest speakers Apostle H. Daniel Wilson, Apostle Gerald Glasper and on March 31, 2015, we had our last night of Celebration & worship in the Tommy A. Brown Center with guest speaker, Apostle John Eckhardt of Crusaders Church.

On March 29, 2016 we commemorated three years of ministry with our 30 & 3 Anniversary entitled, “Which is, Which was and Which is to Come” (celebrating thirty years of marriage for Pastors Phillip and Vondrea Tarver and three years of ministry}. The celebration began with a Night of Worship featuring Prophet Rodney “the Minstrel” Williams and Key of David Ministries, along with Prophetess Helen Mitchell of Wisdom Ministries. On Friday April 1st we celebrated with an elegant dinner at the Beverly Woods Banquet Hall. The guest speaker was Pastor Sylvester Johnson of New Life Family Worship Center. We closed our celebration on Sunday morning April 3, 2016 with guest Speaker Prophetess Michelle McClain – Walters, and our 1st Ordination of Ministers.
