Pastor Phillip & Lady Vondrea Tarver launched United Faith Center Ministries International on December 4, 2012 in the City of Blue Island, Illinois at the Tommy A. Brown Recreational Center. Twelve people gathered on the first night with the theme of "Establishing the Foundation in Prayer".

For three months we gathered for prayer and bible study meetings receiving the name, "Tabernacle Tuesdays". Out of this came ‘NOW - Night of Worship’, a quarterly Tuesday worship gathering, where regional worship leaders, gospel recording artists and dancers united in worship.

It was during a Tuesday night of prayer that the prophetic word was released, “I have given you the name United Faith Center Ministries, for many ministries will be birthed from this ministry and many shall be sent out. I have given you the name International because you have traveled the nations and will continue to travel from this place."

2013

On Easter March 31, 2013 we had our first Sunday worship service. Desiring to share the love of God, we began outreaching in the community with a Meet & Greet, Praise in the Park and Thanksgiving Food Blessings.

2015

We were blessed to celebrate our second year of ministry with guest speakers Apostle H. Daniel Wilson and Apostle Gerald Glasper and on March 31, 2015, we had our last night of Celebration & worship in the Tommy A. Brown Center with special guest speaker, Apostle John Eckhardt.

We relocated to Hammond, Indiana at 721 State Street. Although this was a temporary place, it was in this location that Pastor Phil introduced “August Refresh” every Sunday in August. Apostle Nina Marie Leslie, Apostle Chris & Pamela Hardy and Prophetess Michelle Walter were our guest speakers for a time of impartation, instructions, and inspiration!

2016

Once again, we were in search of a building for worship and on January 4, 2016, Pastor John Sullivan invited Pastor Phil to have weekly services at the Spirit of God Fellowship Youth Building, located at 16400 State Street in South Holland, Illinois. Throughout the years, we united with Spirit of God Fellowship during their annual leadership gatherings and Music Ministry Fellowships.

On March 29, 2016 we commemorated three years of ministry with 30 & 3 Anniversary Celebration, “Which is, Which was, and Which is to come”. This anniversary was a celebration of thirty years of marriage for Pastors Phillip and Vondrea Tarver and three years of ministry. The anniversary commenced with a Night of Worship featuring Prophet Rodney “the Minstrel” Williams and Key of David Ministry along with Prophetess Helen Mitchell of Wisdom Ministries. On Friday April 1^st, we celebrated with an elegant dinner at the Beverly Woods Banquet Hall with special guest speaker, Pastor Sylvester Johnson of New Life Family Worship Center. We closed our celebration on Sunday morning April 3, 2016 with guest Speaker Prophetess Michelle McClain – Walters who partner with Pastor Phil as we conducted our first Ministerial Ordination.

Our fourth Year Celebration was titled, “The Year of the Fantastic - Fantastic God performing Fantastic works” – Habakkuk 1:5. In that same year The Nehemiah Capital Campaign Building Fund which culminated with an outdoor titled “Builders Sunday Celebration”.

2018

In our fifth year the ministry received the prophetic word to “breaking forth”! It was during our August Refresh 2018, Prophet Deland John Coleman spoke on “Massive Moments, Massive Miracles and Massive Money.” In September of the same year, we received the blessings of our very own house of worship.

From September 2018 – March 2019 Renovations were made for the new place of worship. The word for 2019 was Rehoboth: God has made room for us and we shall be fruitful in the land! Our worship home was donated to us by Restoration Ministries / Spirit of God Fellowship. On March 31, 2019 during our sixth year Anniversary celebration, we dedicated the building. Our guest speakers were Apostle H.D. Wilson of Valley Kingdom Ministries International and Pastor Brian Kamstra of Spirit of God Fellowship.

2020

Our seventh year was the year of outreach and establishing new things. 2020 Daily Prayers series began as a twenty-one-day consecration on social media. Pastor Phil was led to continue the daily prayers into and through the pandemic of COVID19 which brought help and encouragement to those who joined in. We closed our doors and opened our hearts to a new way of worship and fellowship. During this time worship service were held on social media, classes were taught on Zoom and we held Parades of Healing to reach the sick and shut in. Birthdays, Graduations, and baby showers were all celebrated with Drive-by blessings.

Our outreach ministry – “United Love” met the needs of the community with food and clothing. During the summer months we worshipped outdoors releasing the sound of healing and miracles into the community.
